LAMP senior softball player Victoria Bye was selected as the female recipient of the 52nd Annual Jimmy Hitchcock Award. The award honors high school senior athletes from Montgomery County who exhibit Christian leadership and scholarship on and off the field of play. This year 46 student athletes were nominated for the award from the private and public schools of Montgomery. Of the 46, two were selected as the class of the field. St. James senior football player Will Spivey was this year's male recipient.

 Victoria joins 2009 LAMP graduate Laura Johnson as the only LAMP students to receive the prestigious award.
