Students excel on nat'l Spanish xxam
Congratulations to the 67 upper level LAMP Spanish students (III, AP and V) who earned national recognition for their 2012 National Spanish Exam results. Mimi Chung and Christopher Dudley scored in the 97th percentile, earning them the presitigious "Premio de Oro" (gold prize) on the Level III exam. Sarvani Ginjupalli and Sophie Jeong (Level III) and Sarah Kim and Joshua Tippett (Level IV) earned the "Premio de Plata" (silver prize). Rachel Berube, Luke Casals, Stephanie Frith, Akhil Kaushik, Rena Lim, Daniel Luehrs, David Mesina, Kyle Trinidad and Juan Parada (bilingual category) received the "Premio de Bronce" (bronze prize) for their Level III scores as did Audrey Ang, Daniel Brake, Breana Davis, Brittany Gunnells, Hollis Morgan, Haley Pascal and Sung Woo Ryoo on the Level IV exam. These students are eligible for scholarships next year on account of their high-ranking scores. Felicidades!
